Schedule
We leave the built-up area of Wädenswil behind us, so that we can soon enjoy a beautiful view across the lake to Zurich. We now stay at the same altitude for quite a time, always on quiet paths in the countryside on the terrain level that makes us believe we are far away from “everything”. We then descend to the lake through the ravine of the Aabach towards Käpfnach. We ignore the entrance to the mining museum, as we would have to pass by here at the weekend. The museum is definitely worth a visit with a guided tour. Behind the building of the high-end loudspeaker manufacturer Piega, right by the lake, we treat ourselves to something to eat at Little Portofino, a Mediterranean pop-up restaurant with a southern flair – weather permitting.
