Schedule
Coming from Sargans, the view from the Rhine valley soon sweeps up to the impressive Kreuzberge mountains on the left. They seem far above, but we climb up to their feet. Then a descent to the Fählensee, where we might venture a dip in the cool water before heading for the cosy SAC hut. The next day also awaits with a crisp ascent, only to march back down to Seealpsee, from where we climb up to Meglisalp. The overnight stay there will remain in our memories, as this small settlement is something special. From Meglisalp, the next day we head via the Mesmer mountain inn to Wagenlücke, from where we set course for the Säntis.
A tough tour for strong calves. Many metres in altitude are covered and we collect even more beautiful experiences. Not for people with vertigo, because the looks into the depths can be impressive.
